Harrisville State Park features a campground and day-use area nestled in a stand of pine and cedar trees along the sandy shores of Lake Huron. The park is within walking distance of the resort town of Harrisville. Established in 1921, it is one of Michigan's oldest state parks. The original park area consisted of six acres, much smaller than the current 107-acre size. Jewell Lake Campground is located on the east side of Jewell Lake. This lake offers a wide variety of fishing and boating opportunities. A one mile hiking trail is located off the beach area and a snowmobile trail runs through the area during the winter months. Jewell Lake Campground is ideal for the nature lover who enjoys wildlife and privacy. 32 campsites.

Phone number indicated above is for the Grayling Management Unit. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations. 20 sites for small trailer use, 11 will accommodate 40-ft vehicle/trailer. Small beach and picnic area on McCollum Lake with good canoeing and pan fishing. This beautiful campground is located on the south branch of the Pine River and allows families to experience and enjoy nature.
